Tuffnells, a leading UK specialist in transporting parcels of irregular dimension and weight (IDW), is exhibiting at UK Construction Week (UKCW) for the first time next month.
Consisting of nine shows, UKCW is the largest UK build event of its kind and will take place from 9-11 October at the NEC, Birmingham, where Tuffnells will be welcoming the construction trade to its stand.
Operating from a UK network of 37 depots, Tuffnells specialises in transporting irregular consignments, particularly within the construction sector, that other companies find difficult to deliver. The company has over 100 years’ experience and offers reliable collection and delivery services across the UK and internationally, making it a popular choice for its 4,000+ customer-base.
The team will be showcasing a wide range of service solutions in the Build Show section of the arena, and will be looking forward to meeting with some of the 34,000 trade visitors attending this year’s event. Since its state-of-the-art flagship depot opened in Sheffield last year, the company has continued to make positive changes including a new account management team, new fleet vehicles and improved depot equipment.
As well as a variety of service offers, such as being able to transport parcels up to six metres in length, Tuffnells is excited to signal its changes and its recent brand refresh.
Stuart Godman, Commercial Director at Connect Group (owner of Tuffnells) is looking forward to the event and said:
Tuffnells has changed. It really is an exciting time for us; we’ve got a good track record with many customers in the construction sector and are as committed as ever to providing our customers with the high levels of service they’ve come to expect from us.
“UKCW is a fantastic event attracting a range of great businesses. If you’re coming to this year’s show and don’t know Tuffnells yet, do stop by our stand B64 - we’d love to meet you and show you how Tuffnells could help take your business to the next level.”
