The Tuffnells team recently gathered to support Pass My Parcel's 'Pass It On' initiative at the Sheffield Cathedral, giving out bags of essential toiletries, food and clothing to the homeless.

The business-wide initiative is backed by chief operating officer, Jonathan Bunting at Connect Group, which includes parcel distribution service Pass My Parcel; news and trade magazine distributor, Smiths News and coffee vending brand Jack’s beans.

The ‘Pass It On’ campaign helped donate over 6,000 bags of winter clothing and sleeping bags to around 1,200 people sleeping ‘rough’ in the run-up to Christmas by the end of 2017. 

Tuffnells colleagues supported the initiative as almost 130 volunteers joined outreach groups across 14 UK cities

Each bag created was gender specific and packed with a range of items, from sanitary towels to hats and sweet treats. 

Elaine Keep, Marketing Manager said of the initiative

"The team at Sheffield were really enthused about getting out on the streets and supporting the campaign. It was a great day and the feedback was so positive. We are really looking forward to continuing to support Pass It On in whatever way we can in 2018 and beyond."
